CAFS Welcomes Delegation from ESSEC Business School Alumni in Collaboration with CCI France UAE

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) hosted a welcoming meeting, chaired by its President, Dr. Mohammed Ben Laden, for a delegation of CEOs who are alumni of ESSEC Business School. The event, organized in collaboration with CCI France UAE, took place on October 20, 2024, at the Federation of Saudi Chambers.

The delegation consisted of 28 French CEOs and top managers visiting Saudi Arabia from October 19 to 22, 2024, with the aim of exploring the Saudi market across various sectors. They were also keen to understand Saudi culture and the transformative Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and promote sustainability, innovation, and foreign investment.

The program of the meeting included the following presentations:
• Welcoming speech and presentation of CAFS by Dr. Mohammed Ben Laden, President of CAFS
• Remarks on bilateral Saudi-French relations by Mr. Philippe Régis, First Secretary of the French Embassy
• Overview of Saudi Arabia’s macroeconomy by Mrs. Esma Laouadi, Deputy Head of the Economic Department at the French Embassy
• Insight into the Saudi legal framework for companies by Mr. Philippe Fadlalla, Lawyer/Partner at BLK Partners
• Presentation on the Saudi oil & gas sector by Mr. Ahmed Tarzi, Country Chair of TotalEnergies Saudi Arabia
• Living and working in Saudi Arabia by Dr. Vivien Exartier, Member of the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCEF) Saudi Arabia and CEO of the Saudi Entertainment Academy

The meeting concluded with a working lunch, allowing for further networking and discussion among the participants.
