05 July 2016 – Message from Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Zamil, Chairman of Council of Saudi Chambers, addressed to the Saudi French Business Council (CAFS):
“The Saudi French Business Council, known in French as Conseil d’Affaires Franco-Saoudien (CAFS), provides a unique forum for discussion of key commercial, economic and other issues of mutual interest to French and Saudi firms doing or planning to do business in both countries. The CAFS was one of the earliest business councils established by the Council of Saudi Chambers and it developed as an exclusively dedicated forum focused on improving commercial and investment relations with Saudi Arabia, it plays a leading role in the expansion of the bilateral relationship.
The Council envisions a thriving relationship between Saudi Arabia and France built on a foundation of mutual interests and strong political, business, cultural, and security relations. The strong relationship between Saudi Arabia and France was boosted by the exchange of official and business visits, including three visits by President Francois Hollande’s to the Kingdom since 2013 during which he met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, since he was then Crown Prince.
Truly, I am pleased for launching the CAFS website and I take this opportunity to congratulate the CAFS President Dr. Mohammed ben Laden and all the CAFS members and partners.
Today, where electronic phenomena prevail in all activities, you need to know by a click of the mouse and have information at your fingertips. The CAFS website may provide invaluable potential advantages, including information and sponsoring events and programs, and coordinating trade missions for Saudi Arabia and France firms as well as publishing articles, tweets, newsletters etc. on the developments in the Saudi-French relationship and insights into Saudi Arabia and its international and business environment.“
