With 13 ports, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is characterized by its strategic geographical location, as a gateway, a connection zone between three continents (Asia, Europe and Africa) and a major hub for commercial transport. by sea. To achieve this objective, the Kingdom launched the National Industrial Development Logistic Program where 160 projects were launched in order to:
The flagship project is the construction of NEOM -Oxagon, the world’s largest floating structure and the world’s first fully automated port and integrated logistics platform.
In this context, Saudi Arabia wishes to partner with leading industrial players to transform Saudi ports into engines of growth and investment in the navigation and transport sectors.
Business France will organise the “French Saudi Maritime Days” symposium, under the patronage of the Saudi Ports Authority, on 25 September 2023, at the Grand Hyatt AlKhobar.
The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) will be a partner of the event and is pleased to invite its Members to participate in this event.
To date, 45 French companies specializing in the Maritime sector have already responded positively to the call for applications. These include major corporations, SMEs, and innovators spanning various domains such as shipping, port transformation, marina, security, shipyards, logistics and environment.
