CAFS Activity Report 2025

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) is pleased to announce the publication of its 2025 Annual Activity Report in both English and Arabic.

CAFS’s activities in 2025 were strongly inspired by both Saudi Vision 2030 and France’s economic development priorities, which continue to guide and strengthen our initiatives. The CAFS has prioritized aligning its efforts with the core pillars of these frameworks by actively supporting high-growth sectors shaping the future of both the Saudi, French, and global economies. Special focus has been placed on healthcare, artificial intelligence, tourism, sports, renewable energy, the creative economy, higher education, and advanced technologies key areas essential to building meaningful partnerships and translating vision into actionable projects and tangible investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and France.

Thanks to your support and the engagement of all our members, we successfully delivered the following activities in 2025:

45 events, including 30 networking events, gathering 2,500 participants
2,500 direct email introductions
500 meetings with companies and official entities
6 business delegations, resulting in 45 B2B meetings
Launch of 4 sectoral committees (Healthcare, Digital, Defense, Tourism)

Furthermore, CAFS now brings together more than 310 members from both Saudi and French companies.

CAFS Activity Report 2024

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) is pleased to announce the publication of its 2024 Annual Activity Report.

Thanks to the active support of our members, 2024 was a new milestone for the Saudi French Business Council. Indeed, in addition to a growth of its membership, an unprecedented number of activities and events were implemented, mirroring the development pace of the Kingdom’s economy in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.

Thanks to your help and to that of all our members, we have managed to implement all the following activities in 2024:

34 events, including 20 networking events, for 1500 participants
2000 direct introductions by email
400 meetings with companies and officials
4 business delegations, giving way to 45 B2B meetings
Launch of 4 sectorial committees (healthcare, digital, defense, tourism)

Moreover, the CAFS now brings together more than 300 members, including 25% of French companies.

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) is pleased to announce the release of the 4th edition of its Membership Directory for July 2024. This edition showcases significant growth over the past year, with our membership increasing from 80 to over 270 members, representing French and Saudi companies of all sizes and across a variety of sectors.

The directory enables readers to search for companies either alphabetically or by sector. Notable sectors represented by CAFS members include construction (17%), manufacturing (14%), ICT & Telecoms (16%), finance & insurance (13%), consulting services (14%), supply & equipment (12%), real estate (10%), and trading & distribution (10%), among others.

Please note that this public version of the directory does not provide direct contact information for CAFS members; such details are available exclusively to CAFS members.The CAFS Membership Directory will be updated and published every 6 months.

CAFS Membership Exceeds 250 Members

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) is delighted to announce that it has reached 250 members this week, growing from 80 members in January last year.

These 250 members include 75% Saudi and 25% French companies, of all sectors and sizes. These sectors include construction (17%), manufacturing (15%), ICT & Telecoms (15%), Finance & Insurance (13%), Consulting Services (13%), Supply & Equipment (12%), Real Estate (10%), Trading & Distribution (10%), and various others.

This expansion reflects the opportunities presented by the Saudi Vision 2030 and underscores the mutual interest of both countries in fostering collaborative economic development. Our objective is to further cultivate and enhance the French-Saudi business partnership.

The CAFS Collaborates with CCEF to organize the Annual Regional Meeting of French Foreign Trade Advisors

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) is very pleased to collaborate to the organisation of the annual regional meeting of the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCEF), which brings more than 100 top French managers from 3 to 5 March, in Riyadh.

Dr. Mohamed Ben Laden, its President, was invited to present the CAFS and its activities during the opening meeting, on 3^rd March morning.

The CAFS will also organise a Saudi French Networking event on 4^th March, at 4 PM, to bring together the CCEF, the delegation of MEDEF International, CAFS members and representatives of French and Saudi institutions.

The CAFS Organizes a Conference: ‘Saudi Arabia: The Next Tourist Hub’ in collaboration with ASFAR

The Saudi-French Business Council (CAFS) organized a conference titled “Saudi Arabia: The Next Tourist Hub” in collaboration with ASFAR, the Saudi Tourism Investment Company, wholly owned by the Kingdom’s sovereign Public Investment Fund. The conference was held on February 1, 2024, at the Federation of Saudi Chambers.

The conference was delivered by Dr. Fahad Mushayt, CEO of ASFAR, who provided insight into Saudi Arabia’s tourist investment strategy and uncovered valuable opportunities and prospects within the tourism sector. This conference brought together French and Saudi professionals who are interested in the tourism sector. The event concluded with a networking luncheon among participants.

Representatives from the Saudi-French Business Council (CAFS), including its President, Dr. Mohamed Ben Laden, Vice-Presidents Eng. Faiz AlElweet and Eng. Soufyan AlKabbani, Director of External Relations Mr. Basem AlHbshi, Chief of Staff Mr. Guillaume Rebiere, and Events & Communication Officer Ms. Lamia AlFawzan, were also in attendance.

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) is pleased to announce the publication of its 2023 Annual Activity Report.

Thanks to the active support of our members, 2023 was a new milestone for the Saudi French Business Council. Not only has the CAFS opened its doors to French members, but it has also recorded an impressive growth of its Saudi members.

In addition, an unprecedented number of activities and events were implemented, mirroring the development pace of the Kingdom’s economy in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.

The results speak for themselves:
• Our membership has come from 80 to more than 200 members, including 20% of French members.
• We organised 30 events for more than 1,200 participants.
• Our team made more than 500 direct introductions between French and Saudi companies.
• And we organised more than 30 individual B2B meetings for companies participating in business delegations.

CAFS organises a Networking reception for the French delegation of CCI France UAE

The CAFS and CCI France UAE successfully organized a networking reception, providing a priceless opportunity for the French Business Delegation and both the Saudi and French business communities to interact within the CAFS members’ circle. The event was honored by the presence of CAFS representatives Eng. Faiz Al-Elweet, Vice-President, and Eng. Soufyan AlKabbani, Vice-President.The reception served about 40 French and Saudi companies to unite Saudi and French industry giants from wide-ranging fields, sparking not only innovative dialogues but also set the stage for potential future collaborations.

We are delighted and proud to contribute to strengthening the business relationships between Saudi Arabia and France across diverse sectors. Conducting such events is a key part of our approach towards achieving this objective.
