CAFS Welcomes Delegation from ESSEC Business School Alumni

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) hosted a welcoming meeting for a delegation of CEOs who are alumni of ESSEC Business School. The event took place on February 9, 2025, at the Federation of Saudi Chambers.

The delegation, consisting of 25 French CEOs and senior managers, visited Saudi Arabia from February 9-11, 2025, to explore new opportunities for collaboration aligned with the goals of Vision 2030. Their discussions with business leaders focused on building partnerships in sectors such as renewable energy, tourism, technology, and manufacturing, supporting Saudi Arabia’s efforts to diversify its economy and foster sustainable growth. The visit aimed to strengthen long-term economic ties between Saudi Arabia and France.

The program for the meeting included the following presentations:

• Welcoming speech and presentation of the Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) by Eng. Faiz AlElweet, Vice President of CAFS.
• Presentation on the macro-economy of Saudi Arabia by Mrs. Esma Laouadi, Deputy Head of the Economic Department at the French Embassy.
• Presentation on the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) by Mrs. Carole Dorgans, Director of Risk Management at PIF.
• Presentation on the rules and requirements for exporting to the Saudi market by Dr. Wael Kaadan, Bureau Veritas.
• Presentation on the Saudi legal framework for companies by BLK Partners.
• Presentation on “Living and Working in Saudi Arabia” by Mr. Vivien Exartier, Executive Director of the Saudi Entertainment Academy (SEA).

The meeting concluded with a working lunch, providing an opportunity for further networking and discussion among the participants.
