Biography of speaker

Dr. Véronique Petit is the CEO and co-founder of BIOLEX and Symbiose, France’s leading forensic science institutions specializing in DNA identification, toxicology, and crime scene investigation. Holding a medical doctorate with specializations in clinical biology and medical genetics, plus postgraduate degrees in forensic science and judicial expertise, she has served as a court-registered expert in France since 2007. After directing the Biochemistry-Toxicology-Genetics laboratory in France and co-founding Analysis Expertise (2004-2023), she established BIOLEX in 2024 to consolidate multidisciplinary forensic expertise, from genetic fingerprinting and medico-legal toxicology to bloodstain pattern analysis and 3D crime scene modeling, under one roof. With over two decades of judicial expertise and numerous scientific publications in international journals, she has proven that rigorous forensic methodology is essential to criminal justice and public safety.
