16 March 2013 – 2nd Meeting of the CAFS members in Jeddah
Program for the second meeting of the CAFS Members on Saturday March 16, 2013 at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah
Meeting Program:
1 – Speak about the visit of French Minister of Industrial Renewal in Saudi Arabia on March 16, 2013 and his participation in the Jeddah Economic Forum.
2 – Invite members to participate in the event (French Art of Living) on April 1 and 2, 2013 in Riyadh with the backing of the CAFS, and make reservations at the Al Faisaliah Hotel for this event.
3 – Present activities for this first Saudi-French Business Forum which will take place from April 10-12, 2013 in Paris, invite members to quickly sign-up on the Forum’s Internet site and emphasize the role of the Business Council within the framework of this Forum during which the President of the CAFS will make an inaugural speech where he will address the present economic situation, the investment environment as well as Saudi trade laws and access to the Saudi market.
4 – Discuss the delegation visit for major French businesses in Riyadh on Monday April 22, 2013 under the supervision of Mr. Pierre Simon, former President of the Paris Chamber of Commerce, intended to promote the investment and partnership opportunities with large companies in Paris and its surrounding agglomerations. Explain the delegation’s wish to communicate with Saudi companies, organize a gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh (Paris function room), incite members to participate in this event and talk with the representatives of the French Embassy.
5 – Agreement on the Saudi delegation training in September 2013 within the framework of the opening of Mr. Faisalal-Khalidi’s factory and invite French representatives to this inauguration. This delegation will be specialized in the fields of health and medicine. Small and medium-sized companies will be specifically focused-on in this segment.
6 – Arrange a date for the next Council Meeting which will take place in Al-Zulfi in May 2013.
