C\u2019est avec une grande satisfaction que le Conseil d\u2019Affaires Franco-Saoudien (CAFS) met en ligne son nouveau site internet. Cette satisfaction, je la partage avec tous les membres de notre conseil d\u2019affaires qui, je le constate tous les jours, ne m\u00e9nagent ni leur temps ni leur volont\u00e9 au service du d\u00e9veloppement des relations \u00e9conomiques et commerciales franco-saoudiennes.<\/p>

Au moment o\u00f9 nos relations bilat\u00e9rales connaissent un d\u00e9veloppement sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, le CAFS entend jouer tout son r\u00f4le pour stimuler et accompagner ce large mouvement qui voit nos deux pays renforcer consid\u00e9rablement leur coop\u00e9ration dans les domaines politiques, culturels, industriels (civils et militaires) et commerciaux.<\/p>

\u00ab La v\u00e9ritable amiti\u00e9 d\u00e9livre des contraintes de la vanit\u00e9 \u00bb a \u00e9crit lucidement le grand \u00e9crivain fran\u00e7ais Andr\u00e9 Maurois. Je l\u2019\u00e9cris sans ambages : c\u2019est \u00e0 cette profondeur que j\u2019\u00e9value l\u2019amiti\u00e9 qui lie nos deux pays. J\u2019entends donc que le CAFS soit l\u2019instrument d\u2019un v\u00e9ritable dialogue d\u2019affaires franc et direct au service de cette amiti\u00e9. Sans rien dissimuler de nos forces et faiblesses respectives. C\u2019est dire que ce dialogue d\u2019affaires, que le CAFS se f\u00e9licite d\u2019animer, doit porter aussi bien sur les opportunit\u00e9s, les faiblesses et les besoins de part et d\u2019autre afin d\u2019identifier le plus franchement possible les moyens optimaux d\u2019y r\u00e9pondre.<\/p>

Je consid\u00e8re donc que la mission du CAFS est \u00e0 la fois op\u00e9rationnelle et pratique. Notre conseil est avant tout un instrument unique de dialogue entre investisseurs, d\u00e9cideurs et entrepreneurs des deux pays. Le CAFS est aussi un outil de promotion et de partage d'informations sur le terrain. Et les rencontres que nous organisons avec les d\u00e9cideurs \u00e9conomiques et politiques des deux pays jouent \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le essentiel dans l'approfondissement de notre compr\u00e9hension mutuelle.<\/p>

Enfin, permettez-moi de remercier tous les partenaires du CAFS qui ont travaill\u00e9 sans rel\u00e2che \u00e0 nos c\u00f4t\u00e9s, notre partenaire le MEDEF International bien s\u00fbr, mais aussi Business France, les Conseillers du Commerce Ext\u00e9rieur de la France (CCEF) et CCI France International \u00e9galement. Je voudrais \u00e9galement mentionner particuli\u00e8rement l'Ambassadeur de France au Royaume d'Arabie Saoudite, M. Ludovic Pouille, et son \u00e9quipe. Ils ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 enthousiastes et d\u00e9termin\u00e9s dans leur appui au CAFS. Je tiens \u00e9galement \u00e0 remercier chaleureusement l'ambassade du Royaume \u00e0 Paris pour son soutien inconditionnel \u00e0 notre activit\u00e9.<\/p>

Je mesure le d\u00e9fi qui se pr\u00e9sente aujourd\u2019hui au CAFS : \u00eatre \u00e0 la hauteur du formidable renforcement de la relation entre nos deux pays. C\u2019est un d\u00e9fi exigeant mais \u00f4 combien enthousiasmant.<\/p>

Ce serait un euph\u00e9misme de dire que l'ensemble du CAFS travaille pour relever ce d\u00e9fi.<\/p>

Puisse ce site que nous ouvrons aujourd\u2019hui en \u00eatre une des manifestations les plus vivantes.<\/p>
